About Us

ProSocial Consortium

Who We Are

The ProSocial Consortium is a group of builders focused on real world human connection.

Members include founders, operators, researchers, and civic partners.

Each works on social isolation from a different angle.

All care about what happens offline.

We build technology, programs, and spaces that help people meet in person.

Our work spans cities, age groups, and cultures.

Most of us run small or mid sized organizations.

All of us face the same constraints.

Perspective and Limits

We are not doctors, therapists, or clinical specialists.

We do not provide diagnosis or treatment.

We are builders and operators who study social isolation closely.

Our insight comes from field work, research review, and lived experiences.

We focus on connection, not clinical care.

Why We Came Together

Social isolation is not a niche problem.

It affects health, trust, and local life.

The cost shows up in clinics, streets, and homes.

Many small teams work hard to address this.

They run events, build tools, and form communities.

Most repeat the same experiments in parallel.

Most lack shared data and shared leverage.

Fragmentation slows learning.

Isolation hides what works.

No single group sees the full picture.

We formed the ProSocial Consortium to change this.

A shared table creates scale without forcing uniformity.

Shared metrics create clarity without central control.

Shared pilots reduce risk for everyone involved.

What We Believe

Real connection happens in real places.

Digital tools should point outward, not replace contact.

Evidence should guide decisions.

Trust should guide collaboration.

How We Work

We coordinate research, pilots, and measurement.

We share playbooks and publish results.

We test in cities, not slide decks.

We keep governance light and output visible.

Our North Star

Every decision answers one question.

Does this increase real human connection?

If not, we change course.

This consortium exists to strengthen real human connections.

We do the work together.
